Teresa Ponce de Leão holds a PhD from FEUP in Energy Planning with renewable integration.

Presently is Chair of the Board of Directors of LNEG, I.P. and Professorat Engineering Faculty of Univ. of Porto (FEUP). Is member of the Board ofDirectors of ADENE - Energy Agency, of the Executive Committee in the EuropeanEnergy Research Alliance (EERA) and Vice-President of the European SustainableEnergy Innovation Alliance (ESEA).

Is also Vice-Chair of the Expert Group on Resources Management at theUnited Nations and leader of the UN Resources Management System sub-group and memberof the Energy Specialization Commission at the Portuguese Order of Engineers.
