Paolo Mocellin

Paolo Mocellin obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Padova, Italy, in 2017. He is currently and since 2021 a Lecturer of Industrial Process Safety and Risk Analysis, MD Course in Chemical and Process Engineering and since 2024 anAssistant Professor (tenure) of Chemical Engineering (Industrial ChemicalPlants), Dept of Industrial Engineering at the same University. Paolo is an appointed member of the Ministerial Committee for the enrolment of professionals Fire Safety Engineers.

FELLOWSHIPS, AWARDS AND HONORS:

  • 2019 European Award, Excellence Award in Process Safety, EFCE-European Federation of Chemical Engineering.
  • 2017 Fellowship INSTM (Instituto Nazionale per la Scienza e Tecnologiadel Materiali), Development of experimental campaigns on liquid fuel synthesisvia CO2 methanation.
  • 2013 Mention of honour, Master’s Degree thesis work.
